ADAC Premium members and holders of the ADAC foreign health insurance can access telemedical treatment during trips abroad through the ADAC Medical App. This service is exclusively available to ADAC Premium members and holders of the ADAC foreign health insurance. In Germany, all ADAC members benefit from the service of our partner Your Pharmacies: you can search for nearby pharmacies, pre-order medications, then pick them up at your local pharmacy or have them delivered to your home via the local pharmacy's delivery service. And all this in just a few steps.

(* Only medical conditions and complaints are treated for which, according to generally accepted professional standards, no personal medical contact with the person to be treated is necessary)

(** Over-the-counter medications can be easily pre-ordered. For pre-ordering prescribed products, you need to take a photo of the prescription and upload it in the app. Please bring the original prescription when picking up the prescribed product at the pharmacy)

App functionality:
During trips abroad, telemedical treatment* can be arranged through the ADAC Medical App. ADAC Premium members or customers of the ADAC foreign health insurance describe their symptoms and schedule an appointment with German-speaking doctors from Medgate Deutschland GmbH. You will be contacted via video or phone call on your smartphone at the desired time. The doctor will coordinate the next steps with you. Medgate doctors do not provide comprehensive remote treatment. Only medical conditions and complaints are treated for which, according to generally accepted professional standards, personal medical contact is not required.

All users can search for nearby pharmacies and pre-order medications online while in Germany. And all this in just a few steps.

User requirements:
ADAC Premium members and policyholders of an ADAC foreign health insurance can use telemedical treatment access while abroad. Before traveling abroad, an ADAC Premium membership or an ADAC foreign health insurance must be taken out. All users can search for nearby pharmacies and pre-order medications online while in Germany. And all this in just a few steps.

Instructions for using the ADAC Medical App:

<li> To use the app, you need your adac.de login information. If you have not registered yet, this can be done at www.adac.de/mein-adac</li>
<li> For security reasons, a one-time confirmation of your identity is required to use telemedical treatment. The ADAC Medical App utilizes the Online Selfie Ident procedure, which guides you after logging in. This step, which only needs to be completed once, takes about 5 minutes.</li>
